Get answers to common questions about Black Mask (Half Face).
It can be used on sensitive skin with caution; our stylists perform a consultation and patch test first. We use gentle formulas and shorter application times to minimize irritation, or recommend alternative treatments if your skin is highly reactive.
The service typically takes 20 to 30 minutes from prep to removal, depending on consultation and any extra extraction. Ideal for a quick in-chair refresh without disrupting your schedule. Results are immediate.
Mild, short-lived redness can occur, especially if extractions are performed. Redness usually subsides within an hour or two; we apply soothing serums and recommend avoiding harsh products for 24 hours to help calm the skin.
For most clients, every 3-4 weeks is effective to manage blackheads and congestion. Frequency may vary by skin type and oiliness; your stylist will customize a plan during consultation.
You can shave before the appointment to ensure a smooth application, but avoid shaving immediately after the treatment to prevent irritation. Wait at least 24 hours for any close shave and use gentle products.
Some acne treatments and retinoids increase sensitivity; disclose all topical or oral medications during booking. We may advise a patch test or delay treatment until after medication adjustment to avoid irritation or adverse reactions.
